On this site I whole-heartedly recommend various books and materials for becoming a better ukulele player.
Some links are affiliate links and help support my efforts in the form of a few pennies here and there.

Area of Expertise : Celtic
A number of players have discoved the charm Irish dance tunes played campanella style on the ukulele. Get your Irish on and earn your AE Celtic patch by demonstrating three tunes of your choice (Scottish tunes are good as well). You may create your own tabs for these (please email copies to be shared on this page to ryan@ukuleleplay.com), or find tabs out there on the internet. Here are a few resources for this genre:
- Al Wood has collected a number of resources for Irish Ukulele Tabs.
- Rob MacKillop has published a great collection of 20 Celtic Fingerstyle Uke Tunes that I enjoy.
- Collin Tribe, an amazing ukulele arranger, has also published Irish Folk Tunes for Ukulele.
- One of the strengths of Ondrej Sarek’s Irish Tunes for All Ukulele is that it contains seperate tabs for C, D and Baritone tuning as well as linear and campanella arrangements of each tune.
- Ken Middleton has a few Celtic tunes on his site.
- Jon’s Ukulele Site focusses mainly on Irish tunes in the campanella style.
