On this site I whole-heartedly recommend various books and materials for becoming a better ukulele player.
Some links are affiliate links and help support my efforts in the form of a few pennies here and there.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- String numbers: A=1, E=2, C=3 & G=4
- Right hand finger lettering: P=Thumb, I=Index & M=Middle
- “Banjo rolls” are easily adapted to ragtime by adding a pause on the third beat of the rhythm and then adjusting the last part of the pattern for style.
CHALLENGE
Earn your Fingerstyle Level 7 patch by demonstrating three of the following fingerstyle patterns (each from a different grouping). You may use a song or songs you are working on to demonstrate the patterns, or one of the chord sequences you’ve learned so far. Demonstrated patterns should keep a consitent beat with no noticeable pauses between chords. Patterns may be played straight or swung.
