On this site I whole-heartedly recommend various books and materials for becoming a better ukulele player.

CHALLENGE
Earn your Core Chords Level 1 patch by demonstrating the following:
- Cleanly strum the I–V7 chord sequence in the key of C (C–G7)
- Cleanly strum the I–V7 chord sequence in the key of F (F–C7)
Although the chords for this level are displayed above, it is also good to own a ukulele chord dictionary for quick reference.
Suggested Songs
Demonstrating the use of these chords in the context of a song is not required to earn the patch, but it makes sense to make this knowledge practical and add a song or two to your Set Lists. Pick at least one for each chord set.
